Ambeyonce...

Tessa singing some Beyonce: "If you liked it then you shoulda put a ring on it."

And then a few minutes later she asked: "Daddy, if you liked it, what would you put on it? I'd put jewels."

Formal Apology to My Sisters...

Dearest Sisters,

I would like to formally apologize to you through this post for being a younger brother. I know I'm awesome now, so this is more of an apology for when we were kids.

I now have two kids and as luck would have it, one of them just had to be the older sibling. And one had to be the younger. I always thought older siblings were a bunch of whiners complaining about their bratty younger siblings, but after watching my kids, I am amazed at the patience of older siblings.

At one and a half years, this baby boy already knows exactly what to do to get his sister absolutely livid. It's movie night and we're all on the bed. We've been here a half hour and I've already heard 7 times: "George isn't giving me any room!" See the picture I've posted as evidence--he is giving her about 3 inches of bed.

So, sorry or whatever.

Heart,
Josh

Half a Joke by Tessa...

In case you are ever in need of a joke without the punchline, Tessa is your go to. I asked her if she was the funny one in her class or if there was a funny kid in her class. She didn't seem to understand what I was getting at, so I then just asked her if she knew any jokes. She said, "No, I don't have any jokes...Oh, wait, I have one:

"Why did the chicken stand on the Wiccan?"

I think that she would actually spell it "wicken" since she then went on to change it to male chicken or a rooster and because she knows nothing about Wicca. But so much potential in that setup for the joke, and then she never delivered a punchline. I will probably be frustrated with this for the rest of my life.
